All our readers must be conversant with the popular Google Maps for several years now that provide reliable information about locations of towns, cities and other places graphically. The concept of Street Views emerged at a later stage. Google Maps can now help users get street views as well. Street views can provide an opportunity to explore a place, see its surroundings, discover major landmarks, comprehend the basic geography of the area including the type of roads, sizes of buildings and other structures, etc.
Interestingly, Google’s Street View project developed pretty fast since its first experimentation in the year 2007. At that stage Google used to make recordings with a Sports Utility Vehicle laden with computers, cameras and lasers and a GPS device on the top of the vehicle. In less than a decade, it expanded the project to new heights. It now provides 360-degree panoramic views of locations covering all the seven continents. Needless to mention, quite a number of cities are at present covered under Google’s street view imagery while other cities are likely to be covered over a period of few years in stages.
Now if one wishes to incorporate Street View imagery into the relevant location of Google Maps it can be easily integrated through the use of Google Maps Image APIs. In fact the APIs make it quite simple without having to build up a URL to embed a static Google Maps Image or Street View panorama into the web-page. The relevant steps can be summed up as follows:

a) Search for the location, say it is Charminar, Hyderabad, zoom it so that it gets visible
b) Click Setting in the lower right corner and select ‘share and embed map’
c) Now copy the URL (it can also be copied from the browser’s address bar)
d) Paste the code on your site. It would now produce a small picture cluttered with inscriptions
e) Now switch over to street view – look for the picture and then go for an application known as ‘http://ctrlq.org/maps/embed/
f) Copy the IFrame embed Code from the lower left side and paste it on the relative web-page. This would get rid of the clutters, and make the map look clean
g) Now, to embed the Street View, drag the pegman to the specific location and copy paste the embed code
