Many of us use online password manager as it greatly facilitates managing your passwords. Many of us however are unaware that Chrome itself provides a built-in Password Manager and Password Generator. The Password Manager manages your passwords while Password Generator generates complex passwords when signing up for new sites. Although there are many highly sophisticated password managers available online, Chrome Password Manager may not be that sophisticated. It is nevertheless a handy tool for providing safe and secure online access.
How To Enable Password Manager
Step 1: Choose Menu From Chrome Browser
Open Chrome Browser-> Click On Menu-> Here Select Settings
Step 2: Select Show Advanced Settings
Chrome has some default settings and some advanced settings. Scroll down and you will find 'Show Advanced Settings'.
Step 3: Enable Passwords & Forms
In advanced settings you will find 'Passwords & Forms' section. Click on options and select both the check-boxes. Now Chrome will save your passwords automatically whenever you visit a new site.
How To Enable Password Generator
Step 1: Sign Into Chrome
Open Chrome and sign into Chrome with your Google Account. Make sure that the Password box is checked, this will synchronize your passwords generated by chrome.
Step 2: Type chrome://flags In Address Bar
After signing into Chrome type chrome://flags and click Enter. Here check for Enable Password Generation.
Step 3: Enable Password Generation
Enable Password Generation will be default. Click on it and change to Enabled. Now click on Relaunch Now. After doing this Chrome will automatically suggest you for passwords whenever you sign up new sites.
