Gameloft make no chance to disguise the fact that their Modern Combat series for mobile devices is inspired by the Call of Duty branch. The Call of Duty series has never managed to make a mark on mobile devices, but Gameloft thereafter tried to adapt the fast-walk, action-packed gameplay of flagship title and prepared it down for mobile phones and tablets.
Gameloft’s latest title is not going to mentally challenge you or stun you with its innovative game mechanics. But it will entertain you, if first person shooters are your bag. Once you jump into Blackout you will be thrown into some action with the smallest amount of backstory. You don’t need many details, you need to know there are bad guys to shoot and an objective to complete. The final option is online multiplayer, which can be played individually or as part of a squad of friends.
