Japanese electronics manufacturer Sony India on Thursday introduced five new series of Smart Bravia TV series. It also introduced the world's slimmest LED TV that will support Google's Android operating system. This five new series of TVs will be ranging from 43 inch to 75 inch panels beginning from Rs 69,900 and above. Also, all these Smart TVs will support the latest Android Lollipop at the base with Bravia UX user interface on top.
The TVs will feature Android 5.0 Lollipop and the slimmest TV will come in 4K LED format. Sony India Bravia head Sachin Rai said in a statement that – ‘Over 90 percent of Indian consumers use the Android platform for mobile phones and that is why we choose this platform for our new series of TVs’. Also, all these new TVs will be able to connect to the Google Play store for downloading apps and will also support voice command for searching the Web and even within Google Play.

All these televisions will be available by the end of August 2015.
