Suzuki made a strong entry in the 110cc Scooter Segment with the all new Suzuki Lets. The 110cc segment has been a great hit in the Indian Market. This is the first 110cc scooter from Suzuki and it is already a hit. Suzuki entered this segment with the launch of 125cc scooter called as Suzuki Access 125.
Suzuki Access is still a success in the Indian Market, So we expect this new launch to be a great success. This scooter is priced around Rs 45,000(Ex-Showroom) in Indian Market. Suzuki Lets will compete all the scooters in its segment like Mahindra Gusto, Honda Activa, Hero Pleasure etc. Among all these scooters we find Mahindra Gusto as its biggest competitor because both scooters are stylish and fuel efficient. Suzuki lets has compact body with stylish looks and less bulk. It is lighter vehicle which is an advantage for ladies. Coming to Engine ad Performance - This scooter is powered with a 112cc, SOHC, 2-Valve, Single Cylinder, Air Cooled, 4 Stroke Engine. The Engine delivers 8.7 Bhp of maximum Power and 9 NM of maximum Torque. Where as Mahindra Gusto is powered with 109cc engine. I would say Suzuki wins in the performance segment. The Suzuki lets Engine is made from the new SEP(Suzuki Eco Performance) Technology.
Suzuki promises that the Engine will produce great power and torque without compromising its fuel efficiency. This bike reaches to maximum speeds in a very less time and the drive is very smooth. Mahindra Gusto has one advantage, it has adjustable seat. Overall both Scooters are good and both claims to give 63 km/litre of mileage.
