Xiaomi has over the last few years made spectacular impressions in the smartphone market with quite some impressive gadgets coming up at almost regular intervals. The latest in the series is Redmi Note 3 - a bigger and more improved handset - announced by the Company at China National Convention Center in Beijing, China, early this week.
The smartphone has quite some features similar to those in Redmi 4G, which has been duly reviewed by us (see the post here) last year in August. Notwithstanding the similarities, the handset has certain advantages that is likely to be welcomed by the users in general. Redmi Note 3, like Redmi 4G, is a 4G phone, but unlike the latter, is a dual-SIM capable one. It is powered by Media Tek Helio X10 processor and has either 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage or 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. It is equipped with new finger print sensor that will lock the gadget in just 0.3 seconds. Incredible indeed!

The smartphone is a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display that flaunts a 13 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and face detection features. The front camera however is of 5 MP, which incidentally is the trend as of now. It weighs a mere 164g and is of 8.65m at its thickest point. The look is good with full aluminium industrial design and curved edges. It is available in silver, gold and grey colors and is priced at Rs 9,500 and Rs 11,500, depending upon the model one chooses.
