Hackers have now shown their skills again and have attacked the software giant Microsoft. In the recent past, you would recollect, they hacked Apple and Facebook. It looks as if the hackers are having a real field day.
Microsoft has confirmed having been hit by a computer hacking attack. While it claims that it found no evidence to suggest that the customer data base has been compromised, investigations on this score are underway. The General Manager of Microsoft’s trustworthy computing security team announced that on line with the reporting by Facebook and Apple, Microsoft confirms that ‘we also recently experienced a similar security intrusion’. He further said: “This type of cyberattack is no surprise to Microsoft and other companies that must grapple with determined and persistent adversaries”
Incidentally, Twitter has recently disclosed that hackers might have stolen information of about 250,000 of its users.
