A Blind Legend is an auditory-only action journey game that can be played on your mobile phone. Its facial appearance binaural sound lets you find your bearing in a 3D atmosphere with audio only, and use your phone’s touchscreen to control the hero in the game. The developer has made this 3-D games based on sound in lieu of sight to allow visually impaired players to experience the joys of digital gaming. The game uses a invention technique known as binaural recording to assemble an immersive audio 3D world game.
The procedure involves fitting a dummy with small condenser microphones that copy the way our ears naturally hear sound. Each and every scene in the game is recorded using this technique and the result is a more level-headed game. Given that there are no graphics, players must rely on their hearing senses to find the way through levels.
