File Viewer Lite is a program available free for download that allows the user to open and support 120 popular file formats, including Microsoft Word documents, Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets, PDFs, Audio files, Image files, etc. The program helps display the content of any file, and supports many uncommon file formats as well. These apart, it facilitates viewing of hidden file information. The programme is easy to use with certain advanced features that would indeed prove invaluable for Windows users. The OS compatible for the download are: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
The current version of File Viewer Lite (version: 1.3.2) is an improvement on the earlier version of 1.3.1, and has been released on 12th March, 2015. The new version has added additional string translations for German and removed a print dialog bug for image printing. The present version has an incredibly easy interface that not only allows you to view different file types but also allows editing them as well. In fact, the task of document viewing and editing is fairly simple and easy with an interface that is almost similar to that of the older version of Microsoft Word document.

The program also has the potential to make light work of any images that are loaded through a number of editing features like brightness, contrast, colours, sharpness, red-eye reduction, etc. Similarly, the media files can also be manoeuvred with quite some audio and video formats – both well known, and not-so-well known.
