Acer has recently launched an upgraded version of its education-focused Chromebook which is also called 'C910'. This newly launched Chromebook will be available in the US starting from April and is priced at $499.99 i.e. approximately Rs. 31,200. It is said to be $200 higher than the older version that was launched in January 2015.
The updated Acer Chromebook C910 now comes with fifth-generation Intel Core i5-5200U processor and is equipped with 32 GB of inbuilt storage capacity. According to the company the new Acer C910 is endowed with largest touchpad that has not come on any Chromebook till date. The latest Chromebook features 4GB of RAM and has come up with a 15.6-inch full-HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution display. The company claims that the Chromebook can deliver up to 8 hours battery life. Carlos Siqueiros, Mobility Business Manager at Acer America said that its advanced technology will boost productivity and help our education and commercial customers get the most out of their Chromebook experience for collaboration on important projects and research. The Chromebook features sturdy construction designed to better stand up to the rough handling the laptop will be exposed to in schools.

As far as connectivity is concerned, it includes Wi-Fi 802.11AC with MIMO technology, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and HDMI ports. It weighs 2.2 kg and measures 393x256x24.2mm. Since this is a Chromebook, everything is done in the cloud, which makes it ideal for classroom use.
