Alive App – A Times of India application introduced recently is quite an innovative idea. It allows you to scan a still picture – the one identified in TOI print pages – and then to play it as a video clip. In case, you want to retain a particular clip for viewing in future, you can
save it as well. The various steps for downloading the app. and then viewing and sharing the video are summed up in the following lines -
- Open the Alive app.
- Wait for it to sync with the latest content.
- Hold it up in camera mode to the image you want to recognize.
- Fill the screen with as much of the image as possible – whether an ad, article, photo, label or logo.
- Hold still and enjoy!
- Use the ‘share’ camera icon to share your experiences with friends via social network, like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
