Have you ever thought of a mechanical vehicle that can travel 200 kms in just one litre of petrol? Surprising, isn’t it? But there is a person in the state of Gujarat who has designed a bi-cycle that can precisely do this feat. Rajkamal is holding a degree in Automobile Engineering and is employed with the State Government at Mount Abu. He found the people from rural areas facing difficulties in commuting, and therefore took up the challenge and designed this cheaper mode of conveyance to mitigate their problem.
It took three years for Rajkamal to design this unique bi-cycle. He believes, it would take a few more days to bring the bicycle to the desired design and perfection. The best part of the invention is the bi-cycle’s incredible rate of fuel consumption – an amazing 200 kms at just 1 litre of fuel (petrol). The maximum speed is reportedly 40/50 kms per hour. With 80 cc 2-stroke assemble engine and a petrol tank capacity of 2 litres, the vehicle can run for almost 400 kms without refuelling. Incredible indeed!

Running the bicycle is easy. All that the rider has to do is to release the clutch soon after pedalling, and the engine will start and take over. Once the bicycle is perfected and goes for commercial production, we would be able to gauze its success. There are however no words about its pricing at the moment.
