Amazon recently launched an unexpected new device on the tech world called Echo, a gadget that gives away little at first glance. The online retailer Amazon is increasingly making its own devices. The latest gadget at the hardware market is the Echo, an internet-connected wireless speaker that responds to voice commands.
Echo is actually handsome device like a black cylinder over nine inches and three inches wide. The foundation half houses a speaker that Amazon claims can produce omnidirectional sound that fills a room. Amazon wants you to put this speaker in your living room where you can shout commands at it whenever the need arises. The new device Echo is a Bluetooth speaker which allows you to connect any Bluetooth-capable devices to connect it wirelessly to play music or any audio. The Echo comes with a remote with a built-in mic and music playback and volume controls, and as a wi-fi enabled gadget, it can access streaming music services like Amazon Music, Prime Music, iHeartRadio, and TuneIn.

In addition it has noise cancellation capabilities that allow it to hear your commands even when it is blowing out music. It remains to be seen how useful it will be to have the Echo. According to Amazon you can use the Echo's companion app to manage whatever it is doing, from the music it's playing to alarms and beyond.
