Remix OS is developed by Jide Technology Co, who was previously in news for creating a Microsoft surface-like tablet called the Remix Ultra-Tablet. Today the company has announced the release of beta version of Remix OS (Android based OS) for PC. Built on the Android-x86 project, Remix OS for PC unlocks our next phase of development for Remix OS and introduces a whole new range of versatility to how and where you can Remix.
Company also says that, Remix OS for PC is compatible with many Intel-based PC's, Qualcomm architecture, AMD and even MAC systems.
The beta release includes a number of new features including support for 32-bit machines, a feature that makes it possible for users with old laptops to run Remix OS.
