As you might be aware, while Android’s PlayStore has a number of apps for Apple, there was no matching app in Apple for Android. The Apple apps were available on the net and the Windows alone. The good news is that Apple too has taken a plunge and has come up with App that would be applicable for Android as well. One such app is there to facilitate Android users to switch over to iOS.
The iOS app called ‘Move to iOS’ claims easy transfer and smooth transition from Android to iOS, especially in essentials like contacts, messages, calendars, mail accounts and media. The app would thus make it possible to transfer from Android to any iPhone or iOS tab operating on iOS 9 without any hassle. With the migration to iOS, the app would help rebuild the iOS app library, and would move every single item that you had on your Android earlier. So much so that even paid apps too would be put on your wish list or shifted. In the event of any app found incompatible, it would also suggest alternatives in the iOS store.
Needless to mention that Apple’s anxiety to rush for such apps is to ensure a higher market-share and an increase in the number of iOS users. Apple has in a big way initiated the process of bringing the Apple Music – a music streaming service – to Android. It would hopefully be available towards the end of this year when music apps like iTunes and Apple Music would have a greater receptivity in the digital world.
