Acer has recently introduced a unique convertible ultrabook called the Aspire R7. The Acer Aspire R7-572 is priced at $899.99. It comes with improved touch technology, a more efficient processor, and a larger hard drive. Acer allows its users to adjust the display at various angles when the notebook is open. The moot question however is: whether it is enough to overcome the problems seen on the previous model, the Acer AspireR7-571?

Acer Aspire R7 supports a 15.6-inch full-HD multi-touch display and is powered by third-generation 1.80 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor along with 6 GB of RAM. The laptop is equipped with a 500 GB hard disk and a 24 GB SSD with micro SD card support. As far as connectivity option is concerned, it includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, VGA, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 ports. This notebook can be folded to turn it into a tablet (though the keyboard assembly is not detachable), which adds to the bulk if you plan to move it around.
Acer has come-up with some attractive choices with the Aspire R7, like positioning the track-pad above the keyboard. All this has been done just to provide a better touch & type experience as the display is supposed to rest between the track-pad and the keyboard. We believe this item to be a worthwhile addition from Acer, and would recommend to give it a try and judge for yourself if it meets your expectations.
