Asus has recently launched a new EeeBook X205 notebook in India. The notebook is priced at Rs.14,999. The device was introduced at IFA in September last year. The notebook will be on sale via a very popular e-commerce retailer Flipkart starting from Wednesday and will also be available from Asus webstores beginning February first week.
The notebook has been launched with preloaded Microsoft Office 365. Incidentally, Microsoft Office 365 comes with one year's subscription with full versions of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point, Access and other apps alongside 1TB of cloud storage. The company offers 500GB of Asus WebStorage for two years. Asus also claims that the notebook has a 36 percent larger touch-pad than its other 11-inch rivals in the market. The Asus EeeBook X205 runs on Windows 8.1 and features an 11.6-inch HD resolution display. The laptop is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz Intel Atom 'Bay Trail-T' Z3735 processor and also includes 2GB of DDR3L RAM. The latest notebook is equipped with 32 GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 128 GB. It features a front-facing VGA 0.3-megapixel camera and supports 2 USB 2.0 ports, micro HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The EeeBook X205 notebook measures 286x193.3x17.5 mm and weighs 980 grams. It is available in Black, White, Golden and Red colour variants. The battery is rated to deliver up to 12 hours of web browsing.
