Asus has launched two new Android tablets in the Indian market. The company is launching the Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) and MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL), both devices will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart. These are budget friendly laptops from Asus and are affordable. The Asus Fonepad is priced at Rs. 10,999 in the Indian Market and the Asus MeMO Pad 8 is priced at Rs. 19,999 in Indian Market.
Peter Chang (Country Manager System Business Group, ASUS India) said in a statement that – ‘These products are set to meet the present day computing needs of the masses. They are very handy and light weight and yet loaded with features which not only keep its users connected but also engaged via fast connectivity and speedy response time. Both the tablets are an assimilation of high end technology and superlative design perfection.’

The specifications of Fonepad 7 are 7-inch 1024x600p IPS display, Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core processor, 3G support with voice calling, Android 4.4 Kitkat with Zen UI, 3950 mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, 8 Megapixel rear Camera, 2 Megapixel front Camera and dual-SIM support.
The specifications of MeMO Pad are full-HD 1920x1200 IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 2.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera and a front 1.2-megapixel camera, 16GB inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 4350mAh battery.
