Recently Asus has proven to be the tough competitor in Router market. With the launch of this router Asus has reached a new level with this top speed router. This router is first in the market which can reach maximum speed of 1.73Gbps on the 5GHz frequency band.
Asus RT-AC87 is the world's first with wave 2 features which bring overall performance improvement, major speed boosts and better reliability. This router is very useful for people who have equipped many 802.11ac routers under a single building. The price of this router is $270 and it will be available shortly in North America.

The RT-AC87 comes with four external detachable antennas on its back which boost up the signal strength and quality. To achieve this high end performance the router uses Quantenna's QSR1000 4x4 Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output Chipset.
The main feature of this router is that it is Aiprotected, Which employs trend micro protection technology to monitor the home network in real time. It also detects malware and other spams and stop them before they reach the clients.
