Taiwanese handset maker, Asus announced the launch of Zenfone 2 in India. The Asus Zefone 2 offers the same premium design seen in the brand's previous Zenfone devices, but with an advanced design including volume rocker keys at the rear panel. The smartphone is a bit thick at 10.90mm, but is quite pretty light-weight at 170grams.
The smartphone runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes with the latest ZenUI, which offers several new features including double tap to wake the screen, Kids Mode, ZenMotion and more. . It has a huge 5.5 inch full HD IPS display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. To power up the device, there is a non-removable 3000 mAh Li-Po battery. The Asus Zenfone 2 has a 13 megapixel auto focus camera with the PixelMaster camera technology while in the front there is a 5 megapixel fixed focus camera with wide angle lens and the same PixelMaster picture technology.

The Asus Zenfone 2 measures 77.2 x 152.5 x 3.9 ~ 10.9 mm (WxDxH) and weighs 170 grams. It has a micro SD card slot with 64 GB capacity and two SIM card slots. Note that the Zenfone 2 comes with 4G connectivity and has Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n/ac), NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB port. It has GPS with GLONASS for navigation.
The 4 GB RAM based models have Intel Atom Z3580 chipset that has a 2.3 Ghz quad core processor. Flipkart, the sole retailer of the smartphone, has already started taking pre-orders. It will start deliver the phones from the first week of next month (May).
