Asus has recently launched Transformer Series of detachable Laptops/Tablet in India. The new launches are Transformer Flip Book TP550LD and Transformer Book T200 Windows-based laptops alongside the Transformer Pad TF103 Android tablet.
The new additions include Asus Transformer 15.6-inch Flip Book with 360-degree rotating touchscreen, Transformer T200 2-in-1 laptop with 11.6-inch tablet and Transformer Pad TF103 tablet. This Asus Transformer Flip Book TP550LD is available in two processor variants that are TP550LD-CJ086H with Intel Haswell i3 priced at Rs. 47,999 and the TP550LD-CJ060H with Intel Haswell i5 valued at Rs. 53,999 respectively. The Transformer Book T200 will be available at Rs. 35,999 and the Transformer Pad TF103 tablet will come at Rs. 19,999.
The new Transformer Flip Book laptop features a 15.6-inch HD display with 360-degree rotating touchscreen. It comes in two variants powered by Intel Core i3 clocked at 1.9GHz and i5 processors with NVIDIAGeForce NV 820M GPU. It is made to run with Windows 8.1 and it is equipped with 1TB of storage alongside 4GB of DDR3 RAM. Additionally, the Transformer Flip Book supports a VGA front-facing camera.
The Transformer Book T200 laptop features an 11.6-inch HD (1366x768 pixels) touchscreen display. Asus says that it is a 2-in-1 ultra-portable laptop with 11.6-inch tablet. The display can be detached from the keyboard. The laptop is powered by an Intel Z3775 Bay Trail processor clocked at 2.39 GHz with 2GB of RAM. It has 32GB of built-in storage alongside 500GB of HDD. Asus claims that the Transformer Book T200 can offer up to 10.4 hours of battery life. It is Windows 8.1-based that supports dual cameras 5-megapixel on the rear end and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), 4.0, Micro-USB, Micro HDMI, Bluetooth, USB 3.0 port and USB ports.
The Asus Transformer Pad TF103, on the other hand, supports a 10.1-inch IPS display with HD WXGA (1280x800 pixels) resolution and 170 degree wide viewing angle. This tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. It also offers a dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. This apart, the gadget has an integrated GPS with Glonass receivers. The tablet is powered by dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor clocked at 1.6GHz alongside 1GB of RAM. It supports a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 16 GB storage capacity expandable via microSD card up to 64GB.
