Its one thing that I can tell you from being a avid gamer is that my happiest moments are when I hear my favourite console games being ported on to phones and tablets. Now I don't mean those graphic run-down games but huge, graphically intense and blood pumping action games like Call Of Duty. It is now available for Android after it was first introduced for iOS last spring. We do a review of the game right here.

This is a really exciting mobile version and its actually an official Activision release so you get really high quality Call Of Duty gameplay. Apart from that, they've also added really interesting elements into the game for the mobile version, which is completely optimized for touchscreens. Strike Team encompasses third person aerial view where you can actually view the entire battlefield and strategically plan where you're gonna go from. With the third person view you can control your team and send them where you need them most. Like always, you obviously do have first person shooter view and this is really famous for a Call Of Duty franchise. Gameloft has done an incredible job porting it over to a mobile device.
Another thing that Gameloft has nailed is the touchscreen controls. A lot of frantic first person shooters really struggle to get into the gameplay with extremely clumsy overlay of controls on the touchscreen. Talking about controls, on the right handside corner you will find a triangle that helps us decide your target by temporarily locking on to the guy nearest to you but also gives you the option to choose whether or not to lock on. My Galaxy Note 2 is completely exhausted and drained because I have been playing this game since morning and I can't help but gawk on how mobile gaming has evolved. The graphics are phenomenal and there is no frame drop whatsoever. Like in the original franchise, you travel to various parts of the world and do some serious lead action. Even though the game costs you $6.99 on both Android and iOS, the game is worth every penny and believe me when I say that because I have taken into consideration each and every aspect. Watch the trailer and gameplay below to get some RBCs pumping.
