Canon has recently launched the world's highest-resolution full-frame DSLR camera called Canon EOS 5DS. The Japanese camera maker has come up with 50.2-megapixel sensors, which is the highest pixel count in canon DSLR cameras. The EOS 5DS is priced at $3,700, that is approximately Rs. 2, 28,500 in Indian Currency.
This latest camera has a Dual DIGIC 6 image processor and features a 61-point autofocus system. The chassis design has now been improved to reduce camera shake. It also has some important software features like a built-in time-lapse filter and up to 5fps high-speed continuous shooting. The EOS 5D is aimed to fill the gap in between the EOS 20D and the EOS-1D professional DSLR. The Canon EOS 5DS is a natural follow-up to the three-year-old 5D MKIII, a legendary model that has been the beloved of many photographers. The 5DS has more-or-less similar body as that in 2012 MKIII. It is made of magnesium alloy, and offers solid weather sealing. It is also equipped with 3.2-inch LCD display (1-million-dot LCD), 1080p video and viewfinders with 0.71x magnification. As far as connectivity options are concerned, it supports Wi-Fi and NFC. If you are shooting landscapes or architecture and want to go for the maximum detailed image then it would prove to be a powerful camera for the job.
