Well friends, if you look at the past, Canon had met with lot of successes in regard to its PowerShot series of compact cameras. Now canon has come-up with a new camera called PowerShot G7 X. This outstanding camera provides superb image quality in the category of compact cameras. Canon is one of the camera manufacturers to have consistently offered a dedicated compact camera in its line-up.
The PowerShot G7 X has a 1.0-type back-illuminated 20.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor with 9-blade aperture and full manual controls. It has a 3-inch LCD touch screen with 1,040K and a built-in pop-up flash. The gadget is equipped with DIGIC 6 processor, Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity. It has come up with a good ISO range of 100-12800. It is capable of recording full HD movie and has a 6.5 fps burst shooting lens control ring. Canon has introduced a new sensor in the latest product that has come-up with the enthusiast-targeted PowerShot, which is exactly similar to Sony's RX series of advanced compact cameras.

The camera is priced at $700, that is, only about $100 less than then its big brother, the G1 X Mark II. The camera is equipped with a fast 24-100mm f1.8-2.8 lens with a 9-blade aperture and a flip-up touch-screen display. The pocket-friendly G7 X measures up to 2.4 by 4.1 by 1.6 inches and weighs 10.7 out of the box.
The gadget also has a HDMI port and a combined USB 2.0/AV out connection. If you look at the bottom, it has a metal screw thread for a tripod. The camera is powered by a lithium-ion battery and the SD, SDHC or SDXC cards needed for image storage. This battery supports up to 210 shots from a fully charged one.
