Canon has introduced a budget-friendly super zoom camera called the PowerShot SX400 IS. The latest PowerShot SX400 IS comes from the Ultra Zoom subset as signified by 'SX'. It is supporting a 30x optical zoom along with a 16-megapixel CCD sensor - a technology used in digital imaging. We would just say SX400 IS is the answer for those users who would like high zoom at more affordable cost.
The camera is equipped with a 3-inch TFT LCD display which is capable of recording 1280 x 720 resolution video at up to 25 frames per second. It has come up with Digic 4+ imaging processor and a new grip shape technology that will allow users to operate the camera with greater stability. With a dedicated movie button, this Canon PowerShot SX400 IS digital camera lets you quickly begin recording 720p high-definition videos. It also has a Smart AUTO mode option that helps ensure optimal image capture. Along with the intelligent IS, it automatically chooses from 8 different modes to optimize image stabilization for virtually shake-free images. There are plenty of filters and manual controls that comes with the camera. The SX400 doesn't have a touch screen or mode dial: everything is accessed and selected via the buttons and four-way controller. Unfortunately, the camera is missing some wireless features like WiFi and NFC. If you want to transfer images to your smartphone, you will need to add a memory card. It supports Secure Digital High Capacity images and SDXC memory cards so it is easy for one to store plenty of photos and videos. The camera is available in two colours - black and red.
