If your needs are limited and confined to a few important features of a smart phone, you may as well consider going for low-cost locally produced phones at prices that could be safely be called affordable. One such phone has recently been launched by Celkon. It has apparently targeted -this phone to the student-community, and has therefore been named ‘Celkon Campus Mini A350’
The phone in white colour with the latest Android 4.2.4 (kitkat) is available at around Rs 3800/- with a free back-cover. Apart from being affordable as a basic smart-phone, it contains some really necessary features like 3G compatibility, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS and Dual SIM support. It also sports an auto-focus rear camera of 3.2MP with LED flash and a front-facing camera of 0.3 MP. It sports a 3.5 inch capacitative touch screen display with resolution of 480x320 pixels The internal memory is half a GB, expandable to 32GB through microSD card, which is considered adequate for limited storage. Further, it is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core processor with 256 MB of RAM. It is backed by a 1500 mAh battery.
