Delhi Police chief BS Bassi has launched a trial version of the much awaited mobile app called 'Delhi Police ...One Touch Away.' This app is launched with an aim to create a single platform for public convenience and also to reduce dissatisfaction of people with police functioning. The app will help to access all the services provided by Delhi Police with just one touch.
After opening this App all the previous Apps from Delhi Police will be displayed. Delhi Police chief BS Bassi said during the launch that: 'Our endeavour has been to identify areas where newer means can help in reducing public inconvenience and consequent dissatisfaction with police functioning. One such area for the public is how to reach police in various situations.' This trial version of the Smartphone App is currently available only for Android users and can be downloaded from Google Play-Store.

This new application is an integrated platform for applications launched earlier in connection with lost report or traffic and the SOS app named HIMMAT which links to specialised units including Licencing unit, Special Unit, Women and Children unit, Delhi Traffic Police and ZIPNET and also all the helpline numbers.
