Dell has recently announced its latest business slate Venue 10 7000 with high-end technologies and remarkable designs. While it is primarily targeted to business-houses, it is as much useful for general users for home use as well. The device is equipped with a ‘barrel edge’ chassis that can be connected at will to an optional keyboard base, thereby giving the option to use it as a laptop, slate, etc. depending on the user’s needs.
While unveiling the tablet, Neil Hand, vice president, Dell Tablet Group in a statement said: "The Venue 10 7000 gives our customers ……… enhanced productivity with a full-sized keyboard and Android for Work, a brilliant display and innovative features like the Intel RealSense snapshot depth camera, all wrapped in a gorgeous design."
The specifications of Venue 10 7000 are noteworthy. It is a sleek device weighing just 598g with a 10.5-inch OLED screen that gives resolution of 2500 x 1600 pixels. It is powered by Intel quad-core Atom Z3580 processor and runs on Android 5.00 Lollipop as its Operating System. It has 2 GB of RAM and 16 or 32 GB of flash memory storage. It flaunts 8 MP Intel RealSense Snapshot Depth Camera in the rear, while the front camera is of 2 MP.

The Dell Venue 10 7000 tablet has front-firing stereo speakers with MaxxAudio Waves tuning. Further, it is equipped with Intel integrated Graphics. The battery powerful: 7000 mAh battery that is said to be giving 7 hours of power in a single charging. The device will be available for sale next month in USA, Canada and China, and would be priced at $ 499 (around INR 31,000). If bundled with the keyboard, it would be costing $ 629 (around INR 39,000). There are no news as of now about its availability elsewhere.
