Facebook has its users spread across the world and it knows very well how to keep it up always. The latest news is that Facebook has now made Facebook Lite available in India, which is available to download at the Google Play India.
The main purpose of this application is to help the users connect via Facebook even with the limited internet connectivity. The application has size of just 435KB and can run on Android devices with Android 2.2 and higher. The app does not requires large chunks of data hence it is effective for 2G networks and areas with slow or unstable connections

The app design is simple and similar to Original Facebook Android app, designed to use less data. The users can still use core facilities like updating status, Adding pictures, check-ins etc. You can even go to settings and set the image quality to avoid more data usage. The app sometimes takes time to load images, news feed and advanced locations but the all in all, it provides basic Facebook features which are a good thing during limited internet connectivity.
