Facebook has already started notifying users in France, England and several other European countries for downloading the Messenger app for Texting or instant messaging on their social platform.
Users can continue using the chat service via Facebook app on iPad tablets, smart phones, Windows phones via Paper app, and the Web based desktop interface.
For easy switching between the Facebook app and the Messenger app, Facebook has now included a Messenger shortcut option at the bottom of their application. Users clicking on it, will be redirected to the messenger app and by clicking on the 'touch to return to Facebook' option will take you back to the main application. So, Enjoy texting over your smart devices.
