Final Fantasy VII is the first game in the Final Fantasy series and it has been only on PlayStation consoles and PC. Not anymore. The game has finally been launched for iOS devices by Square Enix. The game was originally launched only for Playstation in 1977 and later on it was released for PC. It has received huge successes since its release.
Final Fantasy VII is the most popular Final Fantasy game and the much awaited release for iOS devices has now seen the light of the day. The game cost you around Rs 900 in Indian market. It is available for both iPhone and iPad and will work only on certain specified devices like iPhone 5s, iPad 3 and iPad mini 2. Releasing this game was a big challenge for the company because of its size. The company has however successfully managed to do that. The storage space required on your device is 4GB free soace. The game occupies around 1.63 GB of space when fully downloaded and need the remaining space to run the game.
According to the company (Square Enix), the iOS version of Final Fantasy VII is a port of the PC version with no changes or additions to the story-line. The iOS version of the game includes a virtual on-screen controller which is designed not to obscure the action. This controller offers virtual analog or fixed 4-way digital control pad options, the opacity of the on-screen controls is also adjustable. In iOS version there is also an option to turn off enemy encounters in area maps and a Max Stats command to become all-powerful at the blink of an eye.
