Galak-Z is a great 2D space shooter game officially released on 4th August 2015. This game is available for both Playstation 4 and PC, but PC version is not yet released. This is a single player game and is developed and published by 17-BIT. Playing the game requires technique, patience, risk and reward. In fact, it amounts to gaining constant learning experiences.
Galak-Z gives a good game experience. It is inspired by anime. The story of this space shooter game is as follows: 'You play as A-Tak who is a pilot of space ship, sent drifting into the far reaches of space after a disastrous battle with the powerful Imperial army. For progress in this game, you need to complete procedurally generated missions which function like episodes in the traditional TV series. By completing five episodes in a row, you unlock a permanent new season. Incidentally, the game comprises of four seasons.' All the four seasons have surprisingly different fields and different missions.

The most challenging part of the game is that if you die, you lose all your progress, and return to the beginning of your current season. You will die very often because this is a brutal and punishable game. So the defeat will be very much frustrating and heartbreaking because it means losing every upgrade to your ship. There are number of power-ups throughout the game.
