The main highlight of this update is its built-in Device Protection, which makes sure the device is locked when lost or stolen, until signed-in using a Google account. Surprisingly, Device Protection once enabled requires a Google account sign-in even if someone resets the device to factory settings (As said by Google). The other features of this update include support for multiple SIM cards, Device Protection and high definition (HD) voice on compatible phones. Google says that many bugs are also fixed in this update.
Some of the bugs fixed includes fix for the memory leak issue that was reported to be affecting Android 5.0 Lollipop users leading to crashing of apps, fix for random app crashes of dialer and messaging apps, fix for the SMS issue that affected limited users.
