The inventions from Google are virtually unending. The latest in the series is Google Cast - a technology that lets the user transmit his favourite entertainment and apps from his smart-phone, tablet or laptop to his TV or speaker straightaway. With the Google Cast, he can turn his smart-phone into his personalised Remote Control.
In fact, Google Cast not only converts your smart-phone into Remote Control, you can use it to do a variety of functions, like browsing, playing, putting on pause, rewinding, controlling volumes and even making playlists. Interestingly, while you watch your desired channel in TV, you will be using some other app on your smartphone or may even put it in the sleep mode.

Keeping precisely to this line of technology, Google has announced ‘Google Cast for audio’ on the 5th of this month. The announcement made through Google Chrome Blog claims that it embeds technology similar to that of Chromecast, which entertains you with your favourite music by simply tapping the cast button and selecting a Google Cast Ready speaker. As Google Cast Ready speakers pull content directly from the cloud, the user will get the best possible audio quality, and can also freely multi-task on his smart-phone, tab or laptop without having to strain the batteries.
The Product Manager, Google Cast for audio, Tomer Shekel, further disclosed: "More brands coming later in 2015 with the support of chip makers Broadcom, Marvell, MediaTek and system integrator Libre Wireless. These products will join a growing Google Cast ecosystem, which includes more Android TVs, game consoles and set-top boxes." The first Google Cast-Ready speaker is expected to be available in the United States starting spring.
