There does not seem to be any end to Google’s flow of new features. Soon after it came up with the new logo a few days ago, its new ‘rabbit from the hat’ is an add up to Google’s Search feature that is sure to cheer you up. The “I’m feeling curious” feature can be accessed by typing either “I’m feeling curious” or simply “fun facts” into the Google’s Search. Google would immediately display a random fact in a search card on the results page.
Now click the “ask another question” button, and you get another pop-up with another random fact. Thus, it shoots interesting trivia thereby keeping you informed while at the same time providing quite some entertainment. You get links after links arousing your curiosity still further. In the process you find yourself deeply absorbed in the midst of interesting information and data – may be you do not need them immediately. How would you react when you are led to a link seeking information on diverse subjects like who invented Vodka or where is the deepest sea in the ocean or which is the most liked food in the Bahamas, etc.? The Google’s new arrival is a perfect feature for those who want to stay aloof and spend some on assessing their understanding of the world around them.
This feature from Google is a new phenomenon providing knowledge throug bits of information. While we expect this to get quite popular in due course, it would however be advisable to make it more interesting with latest graphics and interesting media so that the reader feels the pulse of the area he is in search of.
