Google Spotlight Stories combines mobile engineering with filmmaking to create an original experience on your device. With the help of this App the phone creates a window to a story all around you, you have the freedom to look anywhere, do whatever you like, follow individual characters, set the pacing and frame the shot. Also, Google Spotlight Stories is a new narrative story format for 360 degree interactive stories. With this App you will feel your Smartphone as a mobile movie theatre in your pocket. The app is designed for entertainment purpose and it is somewhat similar to YouTube 360 videos.
The idea behind the app is that it operates on the Smartphone’s gyroscope and accelerometer for the 360 degree experience. However, the users can only browse from the four short films available on the app and cannot create their own films for now.
Spotlight Stories requires Android 4.2 or higher for Android Smartphone’s and it is compatible with iOS 8.0 or higher versions. Google says that the app is not yet compatible with all Smartphone’s. Google is working hard to support additional hardware. Also, this app is free for a limited time. If you want to try this App click on the links below and download…
