Nanotechnology is moving faster than expected but Virtual Reality, until now was developing in snail’s pace. However, the Scenario looks quite opposite in the coming days with the Partnership of Google with GoPro. Yes, the news is now official that Google has new Virtual Reality platform- Google Jump, lined up soon to take the technology by storm. And the first product of Google Jump is a Jump Camera consisting of whooping 16 cameras arranged in a circular array.
As of now, the Virtual Reality content is in scarce and Google has solution for it- Jump! Yes, with Jump camera, Google is planning to take virtual reality technology to ultimate level. In coming years, we can expect virtual reality to be the part and parcel of our life. The jump camera allows users and filmmakers to create 360-degree Virtual Reality videos which are to be uploaded on YouTube. The videos can be viewed by Google cardboard VR headset.

GoPro on the other hand is a well known for its durable hardware and after teaming up with Google, it has lot to offer filmmakers. The Array eliminates much trouble of filmmakers by automatically synchronizing the video contents of 16 cameras with the help of software which Google has created for Jump. Furthermore, the battery life of Array is incredibly long-lasting which not the case with single GoPro cameras was.
Putting some light availability, releasing in July the Array will be available only to the Google’s YouTube content makers for six months according to the Scheme “Early Access Program”. The videos will be available in YouTube for Google Cardboard users. As of now, no specific price is announced for this product.
