GTA:V or Grand Theft Auto:Five is the fifth game among the Grand Theft Auto series from the Rockstar Games.There have been many GTA games in the series like GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City etc. Among them is the next upcoming and most awaited, GTA :V.
The "5" in this case represents the fifth installment of the game's "main" story that started with the nameless protagonist in Grand Theft Auto 3. Grand Theft Auto 5 is set in San Andreas, a fictional state in the Southwest U.S., which includes three cites based on real U.S. cities - Los Santos (Los Angeles), San Fierro (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas). Seeing the cities you guys must be thinking it is again similar to the GTA:San Andreas map! But it is not. GTA V is set in modern day, so there is a high chance of it not resembling the San Andreas in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Judging from the trailers, Grand Theft Auto V has a general theme around money and how the economy has suffered. This game will have a different storyline that of the one presented in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas as that focused around the Gang life.In short I can say you have a whole new set surprises waiting for you in the same city where once you wandered around! . GTA V's Los Santos appears to have a main focus on the glitz and glamour of Vinewood (the in-game version of Hollywood) while still having an undercoat of corruption and bankruptcy.So the players will have a city with large mountain regions, harsh desert landscapes and filled with hope, glamour and corruption.
The game will be consisting of new vehicles, cars, weapons, additional features and new multiplayer gameplay which is completely different from the previous versions of GTA.
Players will experience missions as different combinations of the three characters, and each will have a different skillset.That's new in GTA:V!
Rockstar Games have announced the release of the game on September 17 on XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 worldwide while the release date for Wii U and PC version has not yet released!
