Hero MotoCorp has recently launched a new bike called Hero HF- Dulex. Hero HF Deluxe is an entry level bike that is much similler to Bajaj Platina. It is said to be one of the best 100cc bikes available in India with an affordable price tag. The Hero CD Deluxe was re-branded to Hero HF Deluxe after Hero ended its joint venture with Honda in 2010.
The HF- Dulex is based on the same platform of HF Dawn and has almost identical physical dynamics. The bike has an integrated visor and cowl which looks neat and stylish with its crystal clear headlight. New HF Deluxe ranges from INR 38.7-42K that is ex-showroom price Delhi. New model is also available with modern features like alloy wheels and self-start. This bike is capable enough to give a tough competition to its biggest competitor, Bajaj Platina.
The vehicle is equipped with Silver finished alloy wheels and front forks also complement the styling of this bike. One can easily notice the chrome shield on its silencer and smart cut on its fuel tank is to make it look modern. Hero has altered its trusted 100cc engine to enhance the performance of this bike in comparison to Dawn.
The company has used a mono cylinder, air-cooled, OHC engine. This 4-stroke engine now pumps out a peak power of 7.8-bhp at 7500-rpm with a maximum torque output of 8 Nm which is accessible at 4500-rpm. This engine is mated with a four-speed manual gearbox with all gears up-shift pattern.
For the guys who are looking for a bike primarily for short distances less than 40 kms per day within the city should consider the Hero HF Deluxe. Similar to other Hero bikes, this bike is also very fuel efficient. The bike will run around 60-70km/ltr in city conditions while on highways, this bike adds around 8-10km/ltr in its fuel efficiency. Moreover, its high resale value, fuel efficiency and wide service network of Hero is an additional benefit.
