Hike is another free smartphone Messenger available to your for instant communication through Wi-Fi, 3G and 2G connectivity. The popularity of the application has been immense, so much so that today there are around 35 million users using this through out the world. Now, let us examine, how does it fare as compared to the existing Messengers that we have been used to.

One can send message to not only a Hike-user but also to a non-Hike user as well. In the later category, however, there are limitations. The messages under this category would go through the normal sms. Every month a total of 100 such sms is available for sending to non-Hike users. This gets replenished. Another interesting feature is that messages can be sent to offline Hike-users also.
