Versions after versions - like the rising stars - emerged on the horizon of Android, and then forgotten soon thereafter. The present version of Jelly Bean (4.1, 4.2 and 4.3) is the latest among the long list of versions. The buck however does not stop here, since the next version of Android is coming up shortly - this month itself - and it is to be christened as Kitkat (4.4).
