Honda Cars India Limited has recently launched its first ever MPV model called Mobilio for the Indian market. It is one of the biggest debuts at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. Honda Mobilio has attracted more than 20,000 bookings within a span of two months of its launch. The new breed that has taken birth called MPVs is based on small-car platforms, have smaller engines too, but still promises large space and a car-like driving feel.

The Honda Mobilio is certainly one of the most anticipated launches this year. The company has introduced the vehicle in three trim levels with both petrol and diesel engine options. Simultaneously, it also rolled out the RS variant that is available with a diesel engine option only. The car has come-up with Audio Video Navigation system featuring 15.7cm touchscreen display and a rear parking camera with woody interior panels. The petrol version of cars is powered by a 1.5-litre engine, which is capable of producing 118 bhp. On the other hand, the diesel version is equipped with a fuel efficient 1.5-litre that is capable of producing 98.6 bhp. This vehicale has the ability to give an impressive mileage of 24.2 Kmpl. The company is offering an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake force distribution as standard for all the diesel variants. It comes with a standard 2-year or 40,000-kilometers warranty. However, customers can extend the warranty period for another two years at an additional cost.
Exteriors
It is an eye-catching body structure comparable with high-ended vehicles. The company has designed this car with the same body platform that was used for Honda Amaze. It comes with a fitted curvy headlight cluster that is integrated with powerful halogen headlamps and turn indicators. Further, the car is equipped with projector-style halogen headlamps, which gives it an assertive look. It has a distinctly designed bumper with bigger air intake section and an integrated spoiler. Honda Mobilio has a overall length of 4386 mm along with total width of 1683mm and height of 1603mm.
Interiors
This top end version of MPV has come-up with a dual tone interior color scheme. The dashboard is in black color and is further embossed with brushed silver inserts. The car is equipped with advanced features like an instrument panel AC unit and a proficient audio system. The Option variants also have an advanced AVN system featuring a 15.7cm touchscreen display that is integrated with in-car entertainment and navigation system.
