We have totally examined Windows 8.1 and came to a conclusion that in Windows 8.1 we cannot create system image from the control panel as Windows 7 File Recovery tile is missing from the control panel. Even though it is not present in control panel we can create a system image. To know read on.
To create system image we use the command prompt command line for creating backup of all the local drives and saving them in a target location.

How To Create System Image In Microsoft Windows 8.1
- Click start button and write Powershell in search box then right click and hit run as administrator.
- Powershell (admin) will open then write the following command in it.
- In this below command, you can change the target, include drives according to your requirement.
wbAdmin start backup -backupTarget:E: -include:C:,D:,F: -allCritical -quiet
- Once the backup is created you can restore it using a system repair disc.
