Dear Readers, there may be instances when you wish to connect your new smartphone or laptop to your internet, and then you discover that you have forgotten the password of your router. Embarrassing and irritating, isn’t? Unfortunately, this sort of situation do arises. But then, there are easy solutions to such a problem.
Forgetting a password is not uncommon. If you have lost or forgotten the password of your WiFi while you are connecting to your new gadget, you can recover it as well. Here we wish to show you a process that is practical and simple. Here are the few easy steps you need to take to retrieve your password.
a. Connect your gadget or your new computer through the cable to router port 1.
b. Open the browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, and enter
c. You will now find the space for entering username and password. Enter ‘admin’ in both the places without the inverted comma, and then enter
d. Go to Wireless Security, where you will find security WPA key, i.e. your password.
e. Take it down, and use it for wireless connection of your newly acquired gadget.
