Recently WhatsApp has added a new feature to its users. Now users can see when their messages are being read. If the message is read then Blue Ticks will be shown to the users. This feature is added to all the users whether they have latest version of WhatsApp or the older one. We are going to indicate some simple steps through which you can disable this feature.
WhatsApp is most widely used chat application with several advantages. But there are some flaws as well, like last seen notification etc. These disadvantages can be disabled by following some simple steps from WhatsApp settings. But there is no privacy setting available to disable the Blue Ticks. Not to worry - all that you have to do is to follow the simple steps given below to disable the element. Incidentally, this technique is available only for Android users at the moment.

How To Disable WhatsApp Blue Ticks
Step 1: Download WhatsApp APK
Even the latest version on WhatsApp doesn't allow you the feature for disabling the Blue Ticks. So you need to download the latest version from the WhatsApp website.
Step 2: Install WhtasApp
Now you need to Install the downloaded APK of WhatsApp messenger on your device.
Note: You should allow Install Apps from unknown sources on your device.

Step 3: Open WhatsApp
After successful installation of the latest version of WhatsApp, open it.
Step 4: Disable Blue Ticks

After opening WhatsApp Messenger, go To Settings->Account->Privacy. You will find an option to disable Blue Ticks. Now Uncheck the read recipients. This will disable the blue ticks and people wont be able to see whether you have read their messages or not.
Step 5: Hide Last Seen & Status
In privacy you can also hide your Last Seen. By doing this you will also not be able to see other's 'last seen'. You can even hide your Status update.
