Nokia X smartphones run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Nokia X software platform and can use various Android apps and games. But for those who want to view lists from the Play Store, here are the steps to install the Android store and download apps from it to the Nokia X device.
Nokia X Android phone comes with the 4” of WVGA screen with a resolution of 800 x 480p / 233 PPI and is powered with the 1GHz of Dual Core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Play processor. Along with 512 MB of RAM, this device also comes with the micro SD Card support of up to 32GB. Traditionally, all Google Android phones come with the Google drive support, but this one comes with the default Microsoft’s One Drive app. Though, the RAM could have been on a higher side, we just hope that in coming days Nokia will come with better and meaningful Android phones. This device comes with the Touch UI specially designed for Nokia Android devices and also supports OTA updates. Adding to the list of specs this device has also got the Dual Sim support along with 3G, WIFI, GPS and A-GPS capabilities. And yes, how can we forget the Here Maps which is replaced with the Google Maps. In a nutshell, this Nokia X Android phone comes with the Android OS with most of the visual appeal bought from the Windows Platform.

Root Nokia Android X, XL and X+ & Install Google Apps On It
This is a rudimental way to do it. This happen because we dont have recovery yet. Bootloader seems locked in some ways, so instead flashing a single zip, we need this way to get it working.
- You should need a rooted device. Use Gandalf Exploit included in Framaroot app. Download the app from here.
- We need a Root explorer app, use whatever you want. Download a root explorer from here.
- Extract and copy all apks from "NokiaX_Gapps_KashaMalaga_28.02.2014.zip" to /system/app and change permisions for this files.
- Reboot.
- Extract and install as normal user every single needed apk included in "NokiaX_SomeGoogleApps.zip". (If wanna use Google Now Launcher, open it after installing it).
- Try to launch Play Store, its gonna ask u for a Google Account and voila!.
