Hewlett-Packard has up come up with a new product called HP Sprout PC. The new PC supports 3D-printing technology. Hp has taken a self-effacing step toward re-imagining the merging of a 3D scanner and a projector with an all-in-one PC that is priced at $1,899. The new launch is on online sale available from Wednesday.
Hp Sprout was unveiled on Wednesday morning at an event in New York City. The company has also announced it will begin to share the 3D printing technology that has been developing for years. The projector also serves as a 2D image scanner for digitizing real world objects. The PC is here with a built-in projector and multi-touch capacitive touch mat. The product has given a modest PC design, and the pc is in favor of a system that is built purely for touch interactions. The company claims that this printer can print 10 times faster than current products in the market.

HP has Microsoft's support on Sprout, which is a first in terms of a third party being approved to bypass Windows and boot into their own environment. HP Sprout sits atop with Microsoft's Windows 8 and can be wielded via a sensor-laden mat on the desktop to a giant mouse pad. HP feels sure that the users would prefer touch controls at desk-level rather than on screen. The biggest arrival in computers which displays mounted 3D scanner and projector, which could create a digital image of objects placed on the mat.
As far as the specifications are concerned , the PC features a 4th gen Intel Core i7-4790S processor with Intel HD 4600 graphics. It comes with NVIDIA GeForce GT 745A, 8GB of RAM which is upgradeable up to 16GB. This new PC is equipped with 1TB of SSD storage space and a Windows 8.1 multi-touch experience. On the issue of connectivity, one can have gigabit Ethernet with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band Wi-fi and Bluetooth 4.0. Additionally, it has two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port with the 3.5mm audio and microphone jacks.
The project Head of HP, Eric Monsef, revealed that the initial production run would be modest but can be scaled up if needed. The key is to attract developers for a new Sprout marketplace or apps store, for specifically designed software that can take the advantage of 3D capabilities.
