HTC has launched its first Desire series Smartphone with Android 5.0 Lollipop, called the HTC Desire 826. Pricing and availability of the gadget is not yet clear by the company. According to the company, the Smartphone will first launch in China and then the other Asian markets in 2015.
This Smartphone has come up in two variants single-SIM and dual-SIM. The Smartphone said to provide 4G-support and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI skinned on top. It also features a 5.5-inch full-HD 1080x1920 pixels display and 2GB of RAM. It is equipped with by an Octa-core, 1.5GHz and 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. It sports a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) rear camera with 28mm lens, BSI sensor, and LED flash. The front camera will be a 4-UltraPixel shooter. The 16GB of inbuilt storage on Desire 826 is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. The Desire 826 claims to be equipped with UltraPixel imager on the front, meaning you can take faster and brighter selfies even in poorly lit environments.

As far as connectivity is concerned, the Smartphone includes 4G (dual-4G), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. The Desire 826 is powered by a 2600mAh battery. The thickness of the Smartphone is 7.5mm and it weighs 155 grams. The Desire 826 comes in two-tone colors including White Birch, Blue Lagoon, and Purple Fire.
