HTC has unveiled its new Desire smartphone called HTC Desire 828 which is now listed on the company 's China website. The handset is also available for pre-orders via HTC's official online store priced at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 16,500). Unfortunately, the company has not given any information to launch the smartphone outside the Chinese market.
HTC Desire 828 runs on an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 5.5 inch Full HD capacitive touch screen, 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC (clocked at 1.5GHz) and 2GB of RAM.
Connectivity options on the handset include Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, Micro-USB and 4G LTE TDD connectivity with support for Indian networks.
HTC Desire 828 also comes with 2800 mah battery which is capable of 8 hours of talktime.
