Taiwanese Smartphone maker launched a new device in India called HTC E8. Speaking to HTC One CFO Chain-Ling Chang after the launch event on the expectations from the new devices and he said HTC was not jumping in the sub-$ 100 category at least for now. Chang added the HTC plans to concentrate on giving good consumer experiences and thus woo the mid segment buyer.
The HTC One E8 will be available in the market by the end of this month at Rs-34,990, features of this Smartphone is it has 5 inch display with an HD 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, 1.4 octa core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM, 8 megapixel autofocus rear and a 2 megapixel front facing camera, 4 Gb of inbuild storage which is expandable up to microSd card. The wireless connectivity option for this Smartphone includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi Fi 802 and 3G.
The One (E8), based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, features a 5-inch SLCD 3 display with a full-HD (1080x1920 pixel) resolution, which translates to a pixel density of 441ppi. It is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8975AC) processor, and the Adreno 330 GPU.
